Hot! The “52 Weeks And I still Love to Sew” Pants/Trousers

I know this picture is a bit grainy but it really is the best I could do. I am in Texas visiting my family. If not for my husband I would have forgotten all about taking pictures and writing my last post of 2012.

I remembered to bring the pants with me but completely forgot to write down the pattern number. It’s a really simple pattern with a double elastic waistband and double elastic around the bottom as well. I like them a lot and think I’ll wear them quite a bit to work and out and about once it gets warmer. The fabric is another flowy poly blend that does not press very well.

Well, this is it. I will miss you all. When I started Sew Weekly I was afraid I wouldn’t find a place in the community. That maybe my sewing skills weren’t good enough.  I hadn’t really sewn in a long time and never thought myself very good. With your love and support I have grown so much. There is so much I want to say but don’t have the brain power at the moment.

Thank you all! Please keep in touch.

  1. I’ve loved seeing your projects this year Gina. Hopefully I will run into you in GR one day. :)

  2. Thanks for sharing your unique style and artistic photoshoots with us during 2012. I’ve enjoyed them immensely. Your are my favorite pant maker and because of how great they always looked, I was inspired to make shorts and pants too. It,s been fun to be in the sew weekly with you. Happy New Sewing Year to you!

  3. I was in TX too for the holiday! So glad I was able to follow along with your work here on the SW. Love your style and hope to continue seeing your projects.
