I so wanted to try a playsuit for this challenge, as that was almost the only thing I could think of that I was “missing” from my wardrobe (not that having a playsuit is really a necessity in my world), but time and fabric constraints bid me look elsewhere. I’ve been wanting a beach cover-up for years (one that actually covered me up rather than being made of mesh or netting of some sort). I happened to remember this fact when I finished my Deep Woods dress for last week and thought about what to bring to camp. I had little time to spare (because I still had to work and pack, of course) and so I Googled “easy beach cover up tutorial” and found this. Looks pretty easy to me! Using a knit made it even easier. I didn’t bother hemming the edges at all. Comfy, breezy, and perfect for the beach at Lake Louise!

Ah, now this is great Erin, I love it! and that colour? you’ve found your colour. Easy, breezy, perfect!
This looks great on you. What a smart and simple pattern! I agree with Kazz, the color looks great on you.
That does look like the perfect easy cover-up. Great job!
Sometimes simplicity is key! This really makes a cute coverup! Well done.
