The Cameo Blouse

For this weeks challenge I wanted to make a blouse that I could wear with my Great Grandmothers cameo necklace. She was a very outgoing woman with a sense of style that was ahead of her time. To create this blouse that not only complements her cameo buut reflected her individuality I used Lisette pattern 2059. I made a few adjustments to create the look I wanted. I shortened the sleeves and added the gathered ruffle cuffs. I also added a ruffle along the neckline. The fabric I used was a gift from my friends stash. This is my new favorite shirt because everytime I wear it I am reminded of two special people in my life.
Nice neckline ruffle, haven’t scene that in a shirt design before.
