This is a wee bit of a rush job. Busy at work and it has been too darn hot to turn on the iron. I did want to have some fun with the Down Under challenge as that is where I am and I was thinking of coats and jackets and long pants and it all came to naught, so please excuse my messy kitchen as it was enough for me to put on a pair of jeans as it looked a bit weird with my much cooler challis skirt.

The pattern went together very easily. I overlocked all of the seams but did run a seam just for the extra strength. I have a little more work to do to finish off the hem and cuffs, but, considering I’ve never liked skivvy necklines (they feel all chokey), I don’t mind this at all.

Jen Brown just plain-old likes making stuff. If it's usable and wearable when complete, so much the better. A new technique or a chance to see how something worked is where the challenge lies.

  1. I agree with the chokey skivvy comment. This looks comfy, well done Jen. I had to google Flanders and Swann, now I know who they are, funny little chaps aren’t they? hehe.
