How long have you been sewing:  I feel in love in 9th Grade Home Ec and haven’t stopped since.

Why did you want to commit to The Sew Weekly Challenge:  To challenge myself to break out of my “I only sew for special occasions” routine.

What do you love most about sewing garments:  When someone compliments me on my outfit and I say “Thanks! I made it”.  They usually follow up with “Can you make me one?”

What do you hate most about sewing garments:  HEMMING!!

What do you want to accomplish this year with regard to the challenge:  I want to make something for myself every week!

Your biggest non-sewing goal of 2012:  Be more social and explore the new city I call home, Charlotte, NC.

What are your favorite sewing/fashion blogs:  The Sew Weekly, Gertie’s New Blog for Better Sewing, Coletterie, Grosgrain, Sewaholic… just to name a few.

Year: 2011
Notions: 2 zippers
Time to complete: 10 for both (the second one went a lot faster)
First worn: October 2011 for a Halloween Party

Wear again? Maybe… I might cut the top off and keep the skirt, it has pockets!!

    Cool Halloween costumes! I have yet to figure out a good way of saying “no” for the “Can you make me one?” question :)
