The “Polka Time” Dress
Name & Location: Angie from Tempe, Az
Blog: www.sewithought.com
How long have you been sewing: 2-3 years
Why did you want to commit to The Sew Weekly Challenge: I was excited to join an international community of talented and crafty ladies who I imagine will provide inspiration and motivation for the whole year.
What do you love most about sewing garments: I adore when you are out at a coffee shop or in a shop and someone compliments your outfit and you get to puff up your chest a little and say that you made it. It’s quite the satisfying feeling.
What do you hate most about sewing garments:I hate when a garment is almost completed and you try it on for the first time only to realize you have a boatload of fit issues! So frustrating.
What do you want to accomplish this year with regard to the challenge: I want to try out new techniques, sew on a more schedule basis, and sew through some of my ridiculous stash!
Your biggest non-sewing goal of 2012: I have big careers goals and hopes of heading back to school.
What are your favorite sewing/fashion blogs: I’m not sure I could narrow it down to favorites but of course it would include SewWeekly if I could!
