How long have you been sewing: 3 and 1/2 years.
Why did you want to commit to The Sew Weekly Challenge: To increase my sewing productivity.
What do you love most about sewing garments: Stitching fabric pieces together, seeing garments take shape, and, of course, wearing them!
What do you hate most about sewing garments: Tracing the pattern pieces to the paper and cutting them. It always takes too much time.
What do you want to accomplish this year with regard to the challenge: I made 32 garments and accessories last year – most of them for my family and friends. The dress in the picture is the one and only dress I sewed for myself. In 2012 I will try to sew more for myself and make at least one garment or accessory every week.
Your biggest non-sewing goal of 2012: To get a job.

What a generous seamstress! Your one and only looks like quite a success!
Thank you! Anyway, I did make a few things for myself (jacket, 2 tops, swimwear and sleeping gown), but this is the only – and my favourite – frock.
I don’t like tracing patterns either. Your dress is lovely though.
I know that feeling of sewing for everyone but yourself!! This dress is gorgeous on you – so you definitely should make more for yourself:)
I love the dress!! Did you make the pattern for the dress? I want to make one for myself :)
Good luck with the job hunting, although I hope you find something great that still allows plenty of sewing time. Sweet dress.
