Name & Location: Steffie from Louisville, KY

Blog: Just started a sewing blog at http://www.steffiestitches.com… my personal website is http://www.stephaniezuroff.com

How long have you been sewing:
Off and on since I was about 13, but I have only gotten serious about it in the last year.

Why did you want to commit to The Sew Weekly Challenge:
I want to sew more this year, and I think being a part of this awesome sewing community will help encourage me to work at it more! It’s always more fun to have a public place to show off your creations :)

What do you love most about sewing garments:
I love that I can create something that no one else owns. I also love looking at a dress in a fancy boutique and thinking “I could make that with a better fit for about a third of the price!”

What do you hate most about sewing garments:
 Seam ripping!! Ugh!

What do you want to accomplish this year with regard to the challenge:
I want to learn how to use my new (to me) serger! I’d also like to take a stab at pants and/or a coat this year.

Your biggest non-sewing goal of 2012:
To re-design my personal website to better reflect my current style. It’s so out of date it drives me crazy! I also have a goal of reading 25 books this year.

What are your favorite sewing/fashion blogs:
Gertie’s Blog for Better Sewing, Green Apples, Polka-Dot Overload (even though she’s been on hiatus for a little while), oonaballoona.. honestly I think I have about 50 in my google reader, so it’s hard to narrow it down!
