How long have you been sewing: I’ve been sewing on and off since high school.

Why did you want to commit to The Sew Weekly Challenge: I want to sew more regularly, and learn new skills, and I think the weekly challenges will be a fun way to do this.

What do you love most about sewing garments: I love picking out fabrics and ending up with something that actually fits.

What do you hate most about sewing garments:  Hemming.  I get so excited that I’m nearly done that I tend to rush the hem, which means I then have to re-do the hem.

What do you want to accomplish this year with regard to the challenge: I want to sew a jacket.

Your biggest non-sewing goal of 2012: My biggest non-sewing goal of 2012 is to develop my jewelry making business.
