Make This Look: Garden Tour Dress
Updated: Thanks to Sew Weekly contributor, Christi, for finding this exact fabric!

Original Inspiration
- Garden Tour Dress from modcloth ($89.99)
Resources
- Fabric: Good Life Collection Organic Bird Floral Spring
from fabric.com ($8.48/yd) - Fabric: Slipper Satin Pink
from fabric.com ($4.98/yd) - Pattern: Butterick 5030
- Coaster Thrills Wedge
from modcloth.com ($59.99) - Garden Grows Headband from modcloth.com ($13.99)

Tips
- If you don’t want the sash to be too shiny because of the satin, try using the reverse side of the fabric. You can either make a wider sash than the pattern indicates or make a longer sash and wrap it around.

So pretty! I really love all the MTLs.
Also I found the exact fabric on fabric.com here: http://www.fabric.com/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=578941c3-494a-47a1-8f23-88443ffcdf89
just in case anyone wants that print exactly.
Thanks, Christi! I updated it accordingly. I can’t believe I missed it. What did you search for to find it?
No prob! I searched for “bird flowers”. lol Kinda random, but it worked.
Did you guys receive criticism from modcloth or something? Is that why you link to their products on the right now? Miss the old version, but I understand if you were pressured to change.
No, I just wanted to experiment with adding more items since I like styling it. They just happen to be modcloth.
love that you are adding accessories! Thank you!
I have this fabric, and I’ve seen it in blue too. For anyone in the Portland, OR area, it’s at Fabric Depot in the Organic Cottons. Don’t forget your coupon!
Can someone explain this website to me? I would enjoying joining and posting . Are we supposed to make the look that is posted or is that just shared by the blogger so we can observe what she is doing. I should mention I am mostly unfamiliar with blogs and blogging. Really enjoying seeing all of your posts.
Wow, that’s awesome that you can get the exact same fabric!
