Felted Dreams

When I saw the challenge theme this week, I knew this was my chance to do something to go with a felted necklace I did a couple of month ago. The problem with my idea was that the necklace was in Chicago and I was in Colorado. I thought that my problem was solved when my husband had a flight back, but Mother Nature had her own idea when she decided to dump six inches of snow on Chicago. His flight was canceled and I thought my post for this week was over. But, he made it back and I’m getting the post in just under the deadline.

The dress is a knit dress with a draped and tie detail.

The necklace and the dress work perfectly together.

A closer look at the necklace. If you would like to make the necklace, you can find the instructions here http://rhondabuss.blogspot.com/2011/11/fabulous-free-pattern-friday_25.html.

A final picture. My dog wanted to get in on the fun, as usual!

Rhonda Buss wanted to sew as far back as she can remember. As a child, sewing represented the freedom to dress as she chose. What she didn't know at that time was that sewing would be the vehicle that would open up her world.
