Why did you want to commit to The Sew Weekly Challenge: The best way to learn more is to sew more!
What do you love most about sewing garments: Seeing a vision/idea become a reality. And having people ask me where I bought my (self-made) clothes!
What do you hate most about sewing garments: The insides. Everything I make at this point is pretty on the outside, rough on the inside. I need to learn to fix this! I bought a serger, but I haven’t learned to use it yet… it was a Craigslist impulse buy.
What do you want to accomplish this year with regard to the challenge: I want to learn to use my serger and incorporate that in my sewing.
Your biggest non-sewing goal of 2012: Get in shape! Look good, feel good! I’m doing some fun workout classes, as well as training up for the Disney Princess Half Marathon in February.
What are your favorite sewing/fashion blogs: What I Wore and Kendi Everyday are my favorites for fashion ideas. I love how they incorporate vintage styles and bright colors/patterns into their daily outfits. I also love anything Modcloth!
Oh I totally wanted to run that race but didn’t register in time! Good luck and tell me how it is – maybe I can make it for next year! :)

Cute dress! Once you get the hang of the serger, you’re gonna love it! (Well, mine is finicky, so I love/hate it)
