Alameda Pattern Finds

As far as vintage sewing shopping goes, nothing really tops the $1 pattern boxes. Here are the patterns I scored this weekend for $15! Simplicity 3060? That's worth the $15 alone.

  3. Woww I love those, especially 3906!

  4. 3906 is beautiful! What great finds!

  5. Wow, did you score! I may have to make the trek out there one of these days. It’s probably a good 90 minutes from where I live, but the bargains look well worth it.

  6. I was able to snatch several vintage Vogue Couture patterns in Alameda this weekend (seemed there were patterns everywhere) – 4 of them for $1 each – I may actually frame them as they are in larger pattern envelopes and the artwork on each is amazing!

  7. simplicity 3906 is exactly the same as Edith Piaf assistant is wearing in the movie La Vie en rose, as they drive the California coast line. I love it.
The movie by the way is fabulous for outfits.

  8. Wow! What a great deal for what are truly some gems! And now I have one more reason to hit all the local flea markets. ^_~
