Tips

  • If you don't the ruffles at the bottom of the dress, taper the front skirt ruffle to the bottom of the hem
  • You should be able to use snaps to secure the wrap part of the dress in place. Finish with a store-bought belt. Or, perhaps make the ties in a contrasting color.

    I’ve made this pattern. My one recommendation: make a full dress muslin. The skirt portion runs very slim. I ended up making this into a shirt, just so I could salvage the material. I would like to make this again in the future, but plan on altering the skirt portion quite a bit.
