In looking through the Sew Weekly archives, is there a particular outfit you'd like to use as inspiration?

  1. I’ve actually been working on a dress with a similar back to Adey Lim’s Plain Sailing – I really liked the ‘peek-a-boo’ back on it. It was actually the pattern from a recent make this look. I almost went with the plain back, but when I saw how cute Adey Lim’s had turned out, I decided to risk the open back design instead. I also love her Giddy with Polka Dots dress. Really, I love almost all of the creations from the Sew Weekly team. Great challenge for the week!

  2. I already have! I fell in love with Mena’s “Mondo was Robbed” dress, because I loved the shape and colour combinations – I would never have thought of a coloured bodice and a monochrome skirt until I saw this dress. So I made my own version. Nowhere near as lovely as Mena’s, but it makes me smile! I suspect it won’t be the first SW inspired garment though: you girls rock!

  3. One of Veronica’s tablecloth dresses, for sure!
