It was this post by Fleur that actually gave me the motivation to go through with it. I'm quite happy I did, though it does require work to maintain. That said, it requires far less work to set my hair and get it to the way I want it! I've actually skipped ponytails for the entire week.

LOL!! I’ve been contemplating getting a perm, but there’s not many places around here that offer them anymore. I may have to go to one of those Lil’ Ol’ Lady shops to get my hair ‘set’. :^)

i have spent my whole life fighting my natural curls, so i never understood why people do this, but… you look adorable. it suits you.

I have thought about it too! I wore the stick straight flat ironed look for years but now want curls! I found some great old vintage rollers but it’s so much work!
