Is it prints? Using multiple prints? I’m intrigued!
I’m guessing it’s tiny repeating patterns! Or calico.
Maybe it’s I’ve always loved the black and white Ascot scene in My Fair Lady. But, Royal Ascot is June 14-18, so I’m guessing a My Fair Lady inspired black and white day at the races outfit!

My guess is something using 4″ black & white patterned squares????? A patchwork project???
Bedlinen in patchwork – hooray. My UFO is ready and waiting to be finished – please give us a year to finish!

I’m guessing a mix and match print challenge. That’s as good a guess as I can make LOL
Patchwork! (though secretly hoping it is not black & white too!) I’m pretty certain you’ve been waiting to amass enough fabrics to make that patchwork dress you showed ages ago! … incidentally… me too!
Kate nailed it — it’s A Day at the Races. Black and white as inspired by the Ascot race scene in My Fair Lady paired with a great race day hat.
Woohoo – I can use my duvet cover!
I’ve already done this dress – way back in “and the winner is” (the best costume design award for the academy awards).
Hmmm. Since I am just in the process of learning to sew so I can have a decent closet of clothes – I think I might skip the costumey aspect of this and just go with a black and white summer/evening dress.
What you have in mind is perfect. This isn’t intended to be a costume challenge. :)
Urgh, not a big fan of black and white, but I do happen to have a GIANT fancy sun hat with a GIANT bow that is black and white. So…
Well! Black and white fabric is waiting in my stash, I need the hat …. Do we have to sew a hat??
