“Not So Juvenile” Juvenile Prints
It's quite hard to use juvenile/novelty prints for adult clothing. A print that is really cute in a fat quarter often times looking ridiculous in a full-size dress or shirt. For this week's theme of children's literature, I searched for the best (subtle) literature-inspired fabrics that could actually work for a dress or skirt. Quilting and craft cotton may not drape marvelously, but for some types of garments it will work.

I love that little elephant book! I picked it up at a thrift store a little while ago. My daughter keeps calling the elephant Snooki instead of Suki. It always cracks me up!
oohhh…love these fabrics! It would be really fun to do a novelty print themed week. I especially like the top hats and the last one with all the books!
