Friday Fabric Finds: May 6
This week I was able to score a bunch of seersucker and gingham prints that aren't particularly interesting but will certainly come in handy at some point. There's not point in photographing them so I'll focus on the more unique prints:
At first I thought this was just brown gingham. Then I saw the little daisies. And then I saw the border print! I swear I think I teared up with this find. It's so hard to find border prints with any yardage — this beauty is about 8 yards.
This is a print (probably feedsack based on its dimensions and it's weight) that I bought at the Alameda Antique Fair for $4.
There's no way I can use this without looking like a tablecloth, but mark my words, I'll find a use for it.
And now for some very special fabric that wasn't a find, but a gift! Thanks to the incredibly sweet Sarah from Rhinestones & Telephones for sending me these four pieces of fabric to say "thanks" for The Sew Weekly! I was so touched that she thought of me and can't wait to use them! The bottom two are vintage pieces in two different color palettes! Thanks so much, Sarah! You really made my day.

Lovely fabrics! Sarah’s gift is so sweet (as is the giver–what a fabulous lady!!)
