  1. I love this pincushion!
    3 words:
    precision, challenge, cr*p!

  2. Patient, prolific, challenging

  3. While kids sleep.

  4. Creative, calm, confident.
I love all of the pincushions you’ve found. One of my two cats fancies himself a sewer, so this little mouse pincushion would fit right into my sewing space.

  5. that is the sweetest pin cushion.
    My three words?
    1. determined 2. bold 3. persistant

  6. Make it work. My new year’s sewing resolution is to try to remake old wardrobe items into things I’m actually excited about wearing.

  7. Cautious, careful, curious.
I have not been sewing much, as my cancer is not allowing it. Thinking about doing hand piecing because the projects would be portable adn great for the waiting room time.

  8. Oh, so so cute! Love it! :-)
My three words: different, vintage, colourful.
I’m planning to end up with a wardrobe of a variety of different vintages and colours, haha!

  9. passionate, learning, and proud

  10. Challenging, improving, rewarding

  11. make it wearable

  12. chaotic creative cathartic
picking three words was quite hard –
Cathartic: I tend to start a new project when I am feeling restless and annoyed with life in general – it is something just for me, which even when it doesn’t turn out quite like I planned makes me feel good.
Chaotic: My approach is always rather chaotic – I tend to start something on a whim, and then pull loads of stuff out of my stash cupboard and drape it around the front room while I decide on a pattern & fabric – normally deciding to draft another skirt as I still haven’t worked up the courage to make a top / dress yet. I am not a tidy sewer so my husband has to carefully step around me while I am in full throw.
Creative: I like to embellish my skirts and add little quirks to patterns so no-one else will be wearing one quite like mine.
    (Love the mouse pincushion)

  13. Learning while doing!

  14. Diclipline,creativity,inspiring

  15. Ambitious
This mouse pincushion as got to be one of the cutest things I’ve seen!

  16. margueritedesigns

    Tenacious, challenging, ambitious.

  17. Such an adorable pincushion! My approach to sewing is challenging, reusing and creative. (My goal is to make things I will really wear out of fabric I already have with a twist to make it fit my personal style.)

  18. oooo so so cute !! I would love this by my sewing box

  19. make it vintage

  20. focus, finish, fabric

  21. Persistence. Patience… and Thoroughness. (no skimping for me…). ;)

  22. fun, functional, and fit!

  23. indecision, tackle, accomplishment!

  24. 3 words: creative, challenging, wearable.

  25. quality, productive and diverse!

  26. This pincushion is adorable :)
    3 words:
    Try new things.
From cross stitch to sewing felt animals i love trying new crafts.

  27. The pincushions in her shop are AWESOME!! My three words….vintage, stash-busting, creative

  28. Fearless, creative, complete. I’m trying hard to live by these words, when sewing.

  29. Messy, cramped, and excited

  30. Wow! So cute!
My approach to sewing this year is to use up my fabric stash (though I have not vowed to stop adding to it, so… not sure how this is going to work) and to make some more separates in addition to dresses.

  31. “Sew for Me”
and I have to add another one
    “Fun, Fun, Fun”

  32. Little bits, regularly.
I tend to sew in fits and starts kind of….bi-polar sewing. I sew madly for a while and then I’m exhausted and burnt out. This year I want to sew more often but less intensely each time. Slow down and enjoy might be another 3 words for me this year.

  33. This is so adorable.
    Hmmm…. Careful, slow, deliberate.

  34. new, exciting, challenging!

  35. Adorable pin cushion!
    repurposing, challenging, vintage patterns!!

  36. Oh, my! I LOVE this pincushion!! My nickname has been ‘mouse’ for years and years!
    Three words: thoughtful, versatile, comfortable.

  37. three words: learning, fun, community
I say community, because I’ve been amazed by the wonderful sewists online. Also, when I started talking about sewing projects I was amazed to find that a few of my friends here are closet sewists!
That pincushion is pretty much the most adorable thing ever.

  38. Don’t Give Up!
The pin cushion is really cute.

  39. Oh my! This is the cutest pincushion yet. I’m going to have to buy one on their etsy store if I don’t win it….
Three words to describe my upcoming sewing for this year:
    Deliberate, Exploratory, Vintage, and Fun.
Okay, I know that’s 4 words, but I had to add in the fun bit since I do have fun with the first three things. :)

  40. Adventurous, space, patient
    So cute!

  41. Carefully planned execution.
Being back in school I have little time to sew, so planning what pieces I want to sew, and taking the time to make a muslin (to weed out ill-fitting patterns) is my game plan this year. LOVE the pin cushion!

  42. Do it anyway!
I am in graduate school and have no time to sew, but I will do it anyway because it keeps me sane!

  43. Adventurous, Open, Energetic

  44. Determined, vintage, solo!
About that last one, I can never seem to make something without calling my mom for help. I’m greatful she makes the time to help me, but I woul like to make something all on my own for once!

  45. Oh my gosh, this is so adorable and fun!
Ok, my three words would be:
    Start. Proceed. Finish.
This year I am determined to finish all of the projects I start. ;)

  46. What a cute little pincushion! My three words: Never stop trying.

  47. Simple, original, colorful.

  48. So.
My three words? Adventurous, Abundance, Ambitious!
I am graduating with my masters degree soon here ( YAY!) so this means free time, to try new methods, to pump out many items and to not lose my ambition when I have to seam rip something ( for the THIRD time).

  49. Finish It Already!

  50. No more Spandex.
I am so tired of not being able to find blouses and pants that don’t have Spandex, Lycra, or some other synthetic stretchy stuff in them. I’m convinced that the main reason manufacturers do this is to avoid having to make clothes that actually fit, but even 2% of that stuff makes me perspire in a most unladylike fashion. It just doesn’t breathe! So I’m learning how to adjust patterns (with Nancy Zieman’s pivot-and-slide method) and using inexpensive quilt fabric–which is still pretty nice cotton most of the time, and comes in lots of colors–to make a blouse. Next up: some crops or shorts out of sturdy poplin.
Three more words: 100 percent cotton!

  51. Francine Schokker

    haphazard, colourful and accidental!

  52. AGH with this pincushion.
    adventurous, headstrong, tipsy.

  53. Patience over productivity

  54. Push My Boundaries

  55. educational – I’m just a beginner
Patient – determined to master the art of fitting a muslin
Proud – I’m so proud of everything I create, even when it’s a bit wonky

  56. I LOVE that little mouse! So sweet! My three words for sewing this year? Inexpensive, precise, and finished!

  57. My 3 words ~ Irene, Olivia & Camilla .. Our 3 grandaughters ;)

  58. enjoy the process!
I get way too frustrated at the time it takes rather then enjoy each step.

  59. annoyed, frustrated, confused…can you tell i don’t sew much? ; )

  60. fit. cut. customization.

  61. Glamour, fit and personnal
I could relate to 2 particular previous comments :
“while kids sleeps” and “sew for me”…
I would like to feel like a women again and be more chic and glamourous after my kids! My sewing time would be my personnal time alone, even if it had to be at night!

  62. Shannon Burchard

    me, vintage, color

  63. quick, painless, consistent.
