: Anne Robishaw (aka Annie by family and friends)
Shop name: Blushful
Location:  The small coastal town of Belfast, Maine
How long on Etsy: I opened my storefront, Blushful, in September of 2010

Who (or what) is an inspiration for your pincushions?
Fat cats, cherry blossoms, Kokeshi dolls and my two wonderful daughters, all inspire my designs. I have always had cats around, mostly big plump ones since they make the best lap cats ever, especially in the long Maine winters! I love cherry blossoms. Have you ever visited Washington D.C. during cherry blossom season? Just try not being inspired by that! I stumbled across Japanese Kokeshi dolls while perusing on Etsy and fell in love with their sweet, simple design aesthetic. Finally, my two beautiful daughters show me art through a fresh and youthful perspective. Their art, inspires my art!

Why do you craft?
I craft because it’s magical, entertaining, rewarding and fulfilling.

Any new projects you want to tackle?
I am gearing up to create some fun, do-it-yourself patterns and kits. I would love for others to experience how easy, addicting and fun felt can be. It’s the perfect craft for any age.

Thanks, Anne ! Be sure to visit her Etsy shop and check out her other pincushions for sale! During Spring, Sew Weekly readers will receive 25% off their orders by using the discount code: TSW25 at checkout!
