This Weekend’s Vintage Finds: 3/9/2010

The finds this week were all from the Alameda Antique Fair and were mostly fabric. There weren’t any crazy bargains, but I got a couple pieces that I’m really excited about sewing.

I paid $52 for all of the pieces, but the bulk of that cost came from the tropical print and the blue and grey (third on top) print. The blue and grey print was $20, but it’s three yards of 30/40s rayon. The tropical print was $18.

Even though I have buttons galore, I couldn’t resist these.

And finally, here’s two patterns I bought for $5.

  1. I love seeing your Alameda hauls!
I really need to just follow you around for a few aisles one of these first sundays to pick up you fabric shopping mojo. I saw that little orange flower flour sack print and almost bought it, even, but couldn’t quite picture what i’d make out of it. I look forward to seeing what you’re gonna come up with!
